A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
Committed to academic excellence, Wittenberg University regularly recognizes students who maintain high educational standards. These students maintained a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the 2017 Fall semester and earned a place on the Dean's List.

An inaugural team comprised of six University of Dayton students took first place in the Collegiate Leadership Competition. UD's team won the award for overall Southern Ohio Champion and tied with a team from The Ohio State University for the highest "results" score for the day.
Nearly 600 students at the University of Findlay recently participated in the annual Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity. Held on campus, undergraduate and graduate students were given the opportunity to share their research, creativity and professional learning experiences with the University and community.
A University of Dayton team of seven students finished first among five teams at the Southern Ohio Region Collegiate Leadership Competion April 29 in Oxford, Ohio. Collegiate Leadership Competition (CLC), a nonprofit college leadership program founded in 2015, creates a dynamic practice field where student leaders can apply what they're learning in a context that stretches them to the boundaries of their leadership knowledge, skills and abilities. CLC makes leadership a real, tangible experience for the future of corporate and organizational leaders.
Kent State University congratulates the 11 finalists of its Three Minute Thesis Competition. Kent State graduate students were given three minutes to explain their thesis, dissertation, or another original research project to an interdisciplinary audience. Cash prizes were awarded to the top three presenters as selected by the judging panel and to the top presenter selected by the audience.
More than 400 first-year students welcomed to the Baldwin Wallace University campus this fall earned $5.2 million dollars in merit scholarships for their outstanding high school achievements. BW grants a wide range of scholarships to current students each year. Including merit and need-based scholarships, BW students received over $41 million in financial support from the University for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Baldwin Wallace University Football Head Coach John Snell is pleased to announce that 95 student-athletes have selected BW to continue their football careers.
Miami University Students Receive Senior Service Leadership Award
The University of Findlay is hosting the 2014 Juried Student Art Exhibition April 7-24, in the Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion, Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery, on campus. Any UF student was eligible to enter artwork for consideration. Categories include painting, drawing and mixed media, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, design, digital photography, film photography and visual communication.
Baldwin Wallace University presents Engelbert Humperdinck's "Hansel & Gretel," directed by Benjamin Wayne Smith and guest conducted by Dean Williamson. Two fantastic student casts create the young children, their struggling parents, the hungry witch and the rest of the characters the audience will meet on a trip through the dark forest. The production features a timeless story, lush, gorgeous music sung in English, and a magical fairytale setting. Runs February 20 - 23, 2014.
